Drinking Dreams

Good morning. I had the most intense drinking dream last night. I swear I would have flunked a urine test this morning. Sheesh. I woke up shakey, and it was SCARY. I've had them before even after some sober time, so not surprised. But, I really really really hate them and this one was kinda intense. AND I'm taking the power out of it by talking about it which is new for me. Thanks for listening, SR FRIENDS.

I tried this for the first time last night.

Lucid Dreams thing??? Just come across it on youtube. Obviously doesn't work for everyone.

But, It's pretty amazing.

The dream involved my Ex Girlfriend telling me her new Boyfriend (who I was pretty jealous of) was gay and me smashing bottles of San Miguel in celebration. I am a recovering Alcoholic!

I have used hypnosis in the past.

Never really been into anything like that to be honest.

Tried it the last nights and it seems to be helping me sleep.

Good luck on your journey.

Hi Altoids.
I'm getting all sorts of nightmares. I can't tell if it's from the quitting drinking or quitting smoking or something else.

All I know is I backed over a motorcycle while someone I went to high school with 37 years ago watched from a log cabin front porch. I can't tell if I'm more upset about backing over the motorcycle or that I'm old enough to have been out of high school that long.

This can stop anytime now.

had one last night.

Took it as a yet further sign that it was high time I got back to a meeting.

Went to the early bird today, picked up my 7 month chip... signed up to do some service work at the hospital in November.... feel very grateful and positive that I did.

Hahaha. . . I guess we aren't alone in our dreams either. I'm just glad it isn't real. I figure it is just my brain sorting thru stuff. Life is good!
