4 weeks sober

Feeling great! Problem is I am dealing with my son. He came here to detox from heroin 7 days ago. Been nothing but a pain in the ass since he got here. I came home from work today to hear that he is planning on going back to where he was living before. it's just stupid. He has stolen thousands from his grandmother. Smokes and deals pot. Has no respect for anyone including himself. Yet here I am trying to talk him in to staying so he can get his life squared away.

Why do I need his crap?

I have no real reason to believe that he will change.

Just a hope and a prayer I guess.

So aggrivated, but still sober.

Congratulations on 4 weeks! That's awesome!

I'm sorry about your son's continued struggle. I'll keep him and you in my prayers.

Take care of your sobriety and good for you for 4 weeks sober.

I hope that your son finds support for his addiction.

Stay strong and take care of you. You know you can't change your son, only he can.

Congrats on the first of many sober months.

Let your son go where he wants to go, you have no control over him anyway. Let him take care of himself. Give yourself a break.
