alone this weekha
Happy Monday all,
The weekend was yucky, but I have to move on. Changing my behavior day by day.
Today's problem. I am home alone. Kids are with their dad, husband is at work. I have no desire to drink as the actions of the weekend are still raw. However, I know at some point that will lesson.
Last week was a waste and not productive at all. I have house chores that need to get done, so I will be busy. Which is where the problem arises. I have always been an alone drinker and usually did so doing home chores because it made me more productive. NOT.: tapping
So. I will be keeping busy, will get out of the house for a drive this afternoon, but for my "alone" drinking friends, what did you do to help when you HAD to be alone at home and get stuff done to not make a poor choice????

I live on my own, and I found myself going for many many long walks in the fresh air, sitting in on my own is what I did when I drank, when things got rough I got out of my house!!
Sure the housework needs done, but a balance between the top priority chores and remaining Sober needs to be struck!!
