Had enough
Hello all, well I've been wanting to give up my drinking for some time now but I guess I havn't wanted to bad enough. Yesterday was it for me. It has been such a habit for so long though, I know I could use some support and advice. Here goes...

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome! Wanted to get back to the gym tonight after a long hiatus but tomorrow seems better. Instead I'll take the dogs for a walk to burn off some steam and wind down with a movie. Oh, and after I figure out what I need to do to fix the side of my house after backing my boat trailer into it a couple nights ago...

Welcome! I am very newly sober, 9 days today. The first days were really tough for me but I got through and so can you. Take it slow and easy. Just get through the days, the hours the minutes and before you know it you will be stacking up quality sober time. No more boat trailer/house incidents for you! Congratulations on your decision, you are going to love being sober!
