heroin addict son moving in to detox
Day 21 sober here. My son is on his way down to detox from heroin. After that we are going to see if he can get off pot. He is 21 and hasn't been clean since he was 17. The problem is l am not sure if he is committed to living a clean life. He doesn't think pot is bad.

Good luck Johhny, and congrats on your 21 days. Hopefully detox can help your son get back on the right track, but only he knows what his committment level is to living a clean life. Your support is crucial, but be prepared should he not be ready yet as you really have no control over that. Narc-anon or Al-anon might be a good resource for you in that respect.
