Enough of the moaning and self pity, ive decided to try aa once again and am going to go on tuesday. I beleive most of the work that needs to be done to stop drinking is mental but it cant help to have a little support. I feel alot better today and wanna thank the posters on here who have given me advice many times. I know i must get annoying but im really ready to change starting with this aa meeting.

It's a great idea. I know near me they have meetings every day, some several times a day. Maybe look at something today or tomorrow

Where i live its a village there isnt even a bus servive so i have to walk 3 miles to the next town which is where the meeting is. I dont drive so i cant go to an earlier nearer meeting.

HI everyone just a little update, I did go to aa when i said and also went to the two after which brings me up to date until next week. Had a bad weekend where my dad had a go at me for drinking all these years and telling me i have wasted my life and that time goes quick. Hes disapointed in me. It has scared me though as i wanted to quit for good over two years ago, so effectively i have wasted over 2 years of my life. Hope everyones doing good and is still battling on.

Hang in there Bradley! We can't change other people or their feelings, you take care of yourself and everything else will take care of itself! Glad to hear you're going to meetings! Get a temporary sponsor and get started on the steps, it does get better : )
