Payday tomorrow!!!
Today is the first Thursday before payday that I'm not obsessing over drinking. I'm not going back n forth with myself saying "I wont drink, or wait maybe I will, I just wont drink too much" and having this argument with myself, trying to fit in alcohol to my weekend without totally going overboard. I have no desire to drink today, or this weekend. Instead I'm excited, I'm making a list of things to do, because I will actually have a little extra money after I pay bills, and I dont have to hold onto it to make sure I have money for wine till my next paycheck.
So! Tomorrow morning, taking my kids to breakfast. Then thrift store shopping downtown, they have a ton of awesome thrift stores, and thrift store shopping is like, our favorite hobbie ever lol. After that were getting them new backpacks for the upcoming school year thats starting next month (my big boy is starting kindergarten!!
and I think after that were having a beach day. I love that our weekend is totally free, we can even just play it by ear and do something spontaneous, because omg, I wont be drunk- I can actually drive my kids around! And since I wont be hungover, we can start our day as early as we want! I wont lay in bed till noon feeling guilty because I cancelled our plans, yet again, due to my hangover! Its a wonderful feeling. I havent been this proud of myself in a VERY long time, and each day I don't drink I feel more and more confident, knowing that I can do this and our lives are improving, and its just gona keep getting better!
