I've relapsed
I've been there many times Waterscapes. But don't give up. Take some time to figure out what made you decide to drink again and go from there. Giving up old habits isn't easy, but it's well worth the effort.
Waterscapes,
Miserable and worthless is the disease, not you. Pick yourself up and move on. Take an honest look at what your approach was, and what was missing when you took the first drink. You can do this!

Drink plenty of water with lemon, take vitamins & try and keep your mind occupied.. Withdrawals will subside just don't dwell on them!! Makes them 10 times worse & obviously if you're that concerned ring your doctor... I know how you're feeling..

I went to inpatient rehab, went to IOP for a month...you would think I would have learned my lesson by now. I cant even think of calling Dr. right now and I have to be at work in 7 hrs.
They way I look at withdrawal is that it's a good thing. It's the body chucking out nasty toxins which it is... Hence why you should drink lots of water plus an Epsom Salts bath works wonders... Makes you really sweat mind!!!!! Anyway you can get off work today?? Doctor give you a sick note?

Hey Waterscapes, I am brand new.......the fact you are having this conversation here, and not alone standing in the bathroom avoiding looking at your reflection in the mirror.........speaks volumes.
I am on day 9 (first day 9 ever). On day three I went out and picked up Vitamin B-Complex supplements. I don't know if it helped.......but it didn't hurt. I swear it did though if only psychologically.
If I had a dime for everytime I said what you are saying and feeling.......I'd have a bucket full of dimes.
Me.

Waterscapes,
Sorry you are feeling so guilty - try again!
I read through some of your older posts and it struck me how heartfelt your comments are towards others. You have such a great spirit about you - Amazing!!!
One of my greatest character defects is beating myself up - I was pretty much always able to give everyone else a break except for me. This is as true for me as the sun rising. I was told this by others over the years but never really believed it till I started working AA program. Now, it seems to be the underlying foundation of many issues for me. Go figure - a drunk with low self-esteem, how unusual!!
Please remember you are very special and there is only one of you!!!!! Listen to this song - has made me feel better many times
