I finally did it!
I finally got the courage to go to an AA meeting today! Going back really wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I have to admit, it is so comforting to be in a room full of people who REALLY understand what I am going through. I can just be myself!
I exercised a lot this weekend too so I'm feeling pretty good. I think SR, AA and exercise are gonna be a good combo for me. Oh...and I need to make sure I am "kind" to myself. :-)
I hope everyone had a great weekend. For those of you still struggling....never EVER give up!

Hey ElleDee, I am a crazy cat lady too. How many do you have? I am down to two cats now from four. One died and the third one I gave to my best friend because she was being mercilessly being bullied by one. Love my cats. And love your picture!

I am new to SR and have been thinking about going back to AA, I just feel so embarrassed to go. I know no one really has to know, but I am having a hard time getting up the courage to go. Have not come across a meeting where I feel similar to others, even though I know my problem is similar.
