still hopefull after all these years

well this is my third day without a beer. This is one more time I´m quitting after losing just another job.
Tired of that.
I hope this time I will make it

I got tired of the struggle too. Trying to be a social drinker was never going to work for me - stopping all together was the only way to have a life. I hope you'll stay with us and keep posting - you can make it this time.

Welcome to SR. Three days so good. Do you have a plan? I found it helps to have a plan and support. Coming here helps and face to face with others in sobriety who understand.

I have lost quite a few jobs. One job I didn't even make past lunch on the first day cuz I reeked of alcohol. Everyone in a 10 foot radius could smell it. Alcohol and having a normal, productive life cannot co-exist for me.
