I finally spoke with my sons after 3 days. It was very emotional for me but great to hear their little voices. My 8 year old that had sought the neighbor after I drank way too much told me that he saved my life. It was a little bittersweet hearing that because he is very right. He indeed saved my life but I wish I had never put him in that position to begin with. It's heart breaking. Both my sons assured me that they are not mad at me and I have promised them both that I will never pick up the bottle again. I have my work cut out for me but feel pretty good about where I am headed. On another note, I wanted to extend a thank you to everyone who has shown support these past 2 days. It is amazing to think that people from all over the world whom I have never met or seen have taken time from their lives to show me support and understanding. It is pleasantly overwhelming and from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
