Hi there
Hello,
I am new to this site, and I would like to write and or contact those people who have written in sister struggle.
I have a sister who has been addicted to drugs since she was 13, and is now about 60. She is currently on methadone.
My sister is going to be receiving money as part of a trust. I am concerned on how to protect her from herself, and from harming others emotionally.
I welcome any and all advice!

welcome AllieG, I'm sure there are others who may offer assistance or advice. I hope you can work through this. If she has all her faculties and functions as an independent and reasonable adult, not sure there is a whole lot you can do. Are there other family members to help?
