Hi all

Now hit the five week mark and also finally managed to not smoke either for two days
I have wanted to stop the smokes for a while as just want to be free from there hold aswell so bought an e lite cigarette and that has helped no end

I feel okay, yesterday was a test as i for some reason in a real moody mood and craved a drink most of the day but i.managed

Anyway really hope everyone is doing okay on here

Charlotte, 5 weeks is a great achievement. We're very proud of you.

For the first few months I had some challenging times - like you did yesteday - but every time we get over those hurdles we grow stronger. We relied on it for so long, it's normal to miss it at times - but we have to remember it does nothing to make life better or easier.

Great job on quitting cigarettes too. Probably the cause of yesterday's mood. You're doing great.

I think many of us relied on drinking to cope with moodiness. I think we're all bound to have bad days....even when we're sober.

Hey girl, I'm a coupla days behind you with the drink and have been doing the e-cig for three weeks. We ARE doing it! Have not had any drink crave yet but know the day will come. Your post gives me hope and I'm sure many others. Thanks!
