100 Days
Just wanted to post that today is my Day 100 of no drinking. This is the first time I have tried sobriety and it seems to be going well and really pleased that I have decided to stop. Have not been to a meeting yet - not sure what I will make of it and feel nervous. Also have my first party next week where over 60 people will be drinking!! Not sure how I'll feel. Sending my blessings to everyone else who is on this journey.

Those situations can often be our undoing if we go in without a clear idea of keeping to our sobriety and how we will do so in the face of many challenging influences in that sort of environment.
Well done!

Congratulations .
For me, it helped to have a drink in hand at all times. This was usually sparkling water with a mixer like OJ of Cranberry. This helped me avoid the awkwardness of hosting a party and not having a glass to say cheers dealing with questions about why I'm not drinking. or whatever. It worked for me on multiple occasions and I'm just in my third month.
