Newcomer to group/Aspie/Autism as well

I am new to this group and I also suffer from Aspergers. I was diagnosed about three years ago. I am now 58 years old. It is very difficult to get a diagnosis for this disorder as an Adult. And the only reason, I even though I might have it is some people I was in a writing group with, said they thought I had that problem and should look into it. This was after me apologizing for my cluelessness for about the zillionth time.
