59 Days Sober, 1 Day a Poster on SoberRecovery
Still adjusting to sober life and am less productive now than I was as a user, but I am keeping faith that that will change as I get more sober time under my belt!
Moving into a sober living residence next week; hoping that support structure helps me regain my productivity.

60 days today wooohooo!!
I did however take 4 drags off of a cigarette even though I had gone over a month without one :/. Glad I didn't finish the cig.
Looked at a sober living place today and was pretty overwhelmed with all of the rules. Some seemed reasonable, but others seemed punitive, antisocial, and counterproductive. What are y'alls thoughts on sober living?

A sober living house, halfway, three quarter way, HAP, etc. is fantastic for developing life skills in a safe controlled environment, the rules may seem silly or stupid but they are there for a reason and have proven track records. Your way of doing things wasn't working. Give it a shot, if you're not mandated, you can leave whenever you want. Remember, we were willing to go to any lengths necessary.
Hi and welcome notonlybutalso
Your productivity and energy will come back - sometimes it takes a little while - I think we can underestimate the damage we do to mind and body as drinkers...
Congrats on the eve of day 60 and on your move to sober living - good stuff
