It's the end of night 3 and so far so good--still sober. Tonight, a lot of annoying stuff was going on and I had a period where I definitely felt the temptation to just have some wine with everyone, but I didn't and now I feel glad.

I got an invite from my (non drinking) sil to go to a concert together on sat. I guess I will go but I'm nervous about it since it seems like one of those situations that I would have trouble enjoying sober. But maybe I will surprise myself.

On the other hand...if it's not something you're sure you'll be comfortable at, I think it's ok to pass for now.

There will be many many other concerts in the years ahead

The weirdest thing about spending time with my family since getting sober is that no one has mentioned it. This is my second vacation with them not drinking. Nobody has asked me about it once. Have they not noticed? Or is it just awkward to ask?

I would count it a blessing that not being bothered w/ 100 questions "why can't you drink normally" or "are you sure you're an alki"?etc. it's less pressure and they maybe even respecting this new decision
Hope there are mtgs around you and have literature to read; plus of course read as many posts on here while sharing your ESH coz that I know keeps me sober when do so
