Over a month
I've been posting on here less and less, but I am still reading people's stories and sending my thoughts everyone's way. Truly, I have you amazing people to thank for pulling me from a very dark time in my life. Since I quit drinking I've found beauty in the world again. Purpose. I'm holding down a job until my lease is up in August. I've been working day in and day out to write a new record with the band that I play in. I've even been seeing a pretty girl the last few weeks. The steps that I've been able to take in the direction of making my life better I owe not only to the amazing support that I've had from my loving friends and family, but from the stories that I've read on this forum and the encouragement that all of you have given me. Truly, this has been a turning point in the person that I am and the person that I am striving to be. Goodnight everyone, I hope you all had a great sober day.

All I can say is Wow! and sounds like you have gathered some strong supports around you. Way-to-go. Have a great sleep. Please consider posting some more of your writings if you do not mind.
