This past month went by so fast. It seems like only a few days ago I was getting my 2 month chip.

Yesterday I attended my sister's wedding without drinking and they had mimosa's! And then a Bloody Mary bar! And wine with dinner, and after desert an open bar. I asked for plain OJ, and enjoyed a Virgin Mary with all the goodies, and drank lots of water the rest of the afternoon. I only had a twinge of jealousy when I saw my siblings drinking what had been my favorite kind of beer. But the thought of actually drinking it myself gave me a headache and an image of me being obnoxiously drunk and inappropriate squelched any other cravings. I still had a fun time and enjoyed the party.

My dad actually apologized for drinking a beer in front of me and said "if it bothers you I won't drink it." Awe. Gotta love him for that.
