Hey Chuckie ,
i found a shower was good at any time to try and help relax and soothe me .

A fan by the bed permanently circulating air helped me lots .

I found watching billy connolly or laurel and hardy movies on u-tube helped occupy and unwind my mind ..

Keep on ,
Bestwishes, m

Hey Chuckieinoz, your thread from a few days back mentioned some serious withdrawal symptoms!!

Did you go to the hospital or see a Dr since your last post?

Hope you feel better soon. I agree that a shower is a GREAT thing. I've been know to get up in the middle of night and take a shower when suffering from insomnia. It just makes me feel so much better and does help with sleeping.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, I felt similar when I first went to the Dr over quitting alcohol and realised they've seen it all before!!

Be safe, if things worsen then a trip to the Dr might be a good idea!!

I love this site and the encouragement thanks PK I also thought that seeing as the vomiting and diarrhoea had stopped that things were getting better will certainly take advice from someone who has the runs on the board and see the doc if it gets worse.

Hey Chuckie...

if you're still feeling rough, or get to feeling rough again, get a cab to your Dr or your local hospital - always best to be safe and comfortable
