First night over, really bad night sweats, nightmares and strange dreams, worst of all really bad nausea. I have not really eaten much in 8 days due to this, but best of all, I feel more positive than I have in a long time. My only worry is asI get over the withdrawals I will go back the way. I need all the support I can get asI have finally admitted alcohol has taken over.

Hi macali... Well done I'm joining you back on day 1 myself AGAIN!!!!! Obviously if you are having bad withdrawals keep a phone near by so you can contact a doctor. Get loads of fluids down you.

Well done Macali, the first 24 is the hardest in my opinion as that takes a load of commitment, its easier to crumble. Jezza is right, keep the phone nearby, drink loads of water and try an eat, all this passes, honest. If it helps I am on 2 weeks today and last night I dreamt that I drank a bottle of Martini! Of all the sh*t I drank in my life, I dont ever remember drinking that! Good luck, keep strong.
