A two ice cream serving day
Close to end of day 1, and I just had a second helping of chocolate ice cream. Had the first one for lunch, but managed to eat a healthy dinner.
Husband and kittens were wonderful today. It helped me keep my spirits up, and feel loved.
I have no excuse for the drinking. My life could be wonderful if I just let it.

but the ice-cream does

Congrats, and I hope you enjoyed both servings immensely...you deserve it.
It's funny because I had a somewhat emotional day with visiting my very ill stepfather in the hospital. When I was drinking I would pour myself a strong drink to cope with any stress in my life...from ill family members to hangnails;-)
Tonight I made a hot fudge sundae for myself, and at one point I looked at my spoon with the Ice cream dripping with fudge and salted caramel and said...wow...this really tastes so much better than booze! I smiled then polished off my bowl happily.
Keep treating yourself well...you are worth it!
