hamster

My hamstSer just died. Fluffy is no longer Fluffy. Yes, that comment came from me. Always trying to make the best of everything. Always trying to keep the spirits up. My son told me today that I am always trying to make everybody else happy that I'm the one crying all the time and falling apart. He said that he will take care of the hamster for me because I take care of everybody else That's' my boy You got to love him!!!!!

I am so sorry airwick
Big or small we get so attached to them, I still miss my little rat whose name I use as a screen name. Mousey Carlotta Eek was such a sweet gentle soul.
This is really awesome that your son is stepping up for you by taking care of fluffy

That is AWESOME of your son.

I also cracked up at the Fluffy is no longer fluffy comment. Thank you for the laugh at poor little fluffys expense.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay in good spirits. Maybe spirits is a bad word here. Haha

Losing a pet always hurts. You do have to make sure that your happiness counts as much as everyone else's. Just like on an airplane, you have to put your oxygen mask on first before you can help anyone else.

Hi airwick, sorry about fluffy.

Your son sounds like, as my mum used to say 'as old as the hills' .

Ouff, I'm relieved to know I crack a laugh on this. I just can't stop!
Ok deep breath Pat

Your son is really sensitive to others, you must be so proud.

Ho crap, that took all of me to be serious for a second.

I think that I do! My father always had told me that I was "The Best", so my son will carry on the tradition and be "The Best of The Best" l.o.l.

My outburst was probably amusing. I truly burst into tears, loud lamenting... got it all out, and then it was over

As someone else said, sounds like you have a wonderful son with a beautiful soul.

I'm sorry about your hamster. Your son sounds great!

And I cried over my hamster and my betta. You get attached no matter how small.
