This weekend my wife is away from Saturday morning until Sunday evening, normally totally free drinking time, so I have planned to keep busy and pop in here often. Going out on my bike tomorrow then walking in the hills on Sunday, hopefully be too knackered to think about booze.

Next weekend is even more difficult, I am away on a stag weekend that I cant get out of, going to try and do the day but miss the evening. Inside myself I think I will be fine, but there is that bit of doubt, it worries me that someone will spike my drink for a laugh because I'm not drinking.

Anyway I will deal with this weekend first, there is always going to be something in the future which will be challenging, my daughters wedding 27th July, Christmas, New Year, birthdays and on and on. I will deal with them as they arrive.

on a side note: someone 'spiking' your drink is illegal. it would the same as putting roofies in someone's drink or other hazardous substance.
