So I went to a meeting yesterday, I poured my heart out, I complained and whined and went on and on..... and after it all, I was asked, but are you going to be sober?

Well I have given thought to that question Am I going to be sober, what would it take to not be sober? Are we/I going to be sober? What excuse is there? I think that person hit the point right on the head? Things are going to happen the world isn't going to be perfect, and not everything is going to be right all the time, but am I going to be sober?

What a sobering thought! What a tale all moment in my life and really drives home the thoughts I should have. " But am I going to be sober?" So now I need to focus on sobriety no matter what, when, how, because " but am I going to be sober" really get to the heart of what I need to be thinking.

I seem to be the odd man out when this subject comes up. I know I will never drink normally. I know I will likely die if I drink again. I can't imagine myself ever drinking again. My goal is to die sober.

Never drink again? I don't think I can say that with certainty because I don't know what life has in store for me.

I do know that I will continue to do the things I need to do on daily basis that has kept me sober thus far
