I started a new job today. I don’t think it would’ve happened if I hadn’t decided to get clean and sober. My life continues to improve as I move away from my old habits and build a new lifestyle for myself, one day at a time.

I know that in the beginning this new job will be both tiring and challenging. I am looking forward to it. I feel like I have a future now and I like the person that I am. I will probably stay close to SR for the next few weeks as I deal with all the changes coming my way. Your support and encouragement has definitely helped me to get this far. If you are still in your first 3 months of sobriety, hang on, you can’t even imagine the wonders that are in store for you yet!
