Day 17

I'm amazed I've made it this far!

I'm back at work after being signed off and I can see, with my sober eyes on, why I was drinking. I think I may need to quit my job.

No real point to this post, just checking in xx

Well done on 17 days. In four days you will have three weeks, so keep at it. Too bad about the job, but with some sober time, I'm sure you can find something that won't be as bad.

Congrats on your 17 days. Think I'm about there too.
With respect to your sober spec's instead of booze goggles..
I have often said that drinking allowed me to tolerate the intolerable...

You will sort it all out sober...I'm pretty sure it works that way. Problems get solved in sobriety rather than ignored.

I'm better at my job being sober but it is too much pressure. I don't want to relapse because of work - there's too much to lose.

Hopefully by Christmas I will be done with work

Congrats on your progress needinghelp

I usually advise caution on big changes though - it was a good three months before I really knew who sober me was and what I wanted.

Congrats on 17 days. I think you're amazing. It's a gift. What you will find as you continue with sobriety that more will make more sense. Just like with your job. You may want to hang tight until you get a little more time under you before making Big changes. However with that said, don't but your sober time in jeopardy and make sure you protect that because you won't be any good to your job or anybody if you start drinking again. well done!

Great job on 17 Days!!

Take some time before deciding on things, after a few more weeks you may feel different as your body is adjusting and healing!!
