Struggling
Try to shift your focus Liss. It sounds like you're letting the obsessive thoughts overwhelm you. I've found that shifting my thoughts to anything but drinking does work, but it takes some practice. Still, just finding something to occupy your mind and your time can keep you reasonably sane until the urges diminish, and they will diminish with time.

Glad you're sharing your struggle. Sometimes I seem to jump right to the "struggling" threads as that's where I'm at...alot these days..
It's nice to find some company : )
The happy, wahoo...I'm rocking my sober life and the world is sunshine and lollipops don't cut it sometimes..
But they will...eventually.
Are those eggs in your Avatar?

Just did suggested and long walk feeling heaps better I will do what it takes. I know 100% if I pick up what I get everytime , ok this is hard dealing with life head on no numbing it but I'm just pushing through it a day at a time.
Liss - your doing so well! I'm having really great time with my daughter now I'm sober too. Tonight we both put face masks on, gave each other a hand massage and then did a meditation she found on You Tube. Can't get much better than that! It seems our daughters are soooooo happy to have sober mums. Sleep well tonight.
