Hazelden Worksheets
Hazelden Worksheets
Curious what the consensus is to using Hazelden style 4th step worksheets. I am currently using the BB suggested 4th step columns. I am not trying to shortcut and if anything want to air on being more thorough so this remains lasting in terms of getting it all out being fearless. Curious form those who have used and those that chose not to.
I just did step 4 and used all of those hazrldon worksheets only because it made more sense to me and I felt it was more thorough. I don't think it's necessary though. It took me about two hours to complete everything and is very lengthy. I found it a little depressing and really hating many of my character flaws but I guess that's the point too!

No hazelden or other fancy worksheets required.
Keep it simple...as Dr. Bob would say.

I have did all kinds of inventories since I got sober.
assets and liabilities ,all kinds of worksheets, those hazlenden ones, and one that had a million questions to answer. The big book helped me the most I feel like.
being though and honest is a great way to look at any inventory.

I did plenty of long 4th steps myself but after listening to Wally P. talk about how it was done in the 30s and 40s I would would do it different now.

I used Hazelden 4th step worksheets.
My sponsor had been through a treatment centre, so that's the way he did step 4.
He explained that before we started the steps.
I had no preconceived notions about the "best" way to do step 4.
I found that the worksheets helped me to be thorough and honest.
They helped me to remember a lot of things that I had forgotten.
My step 4 took me a weekend to complete.
I haven't done it the Big Book way.
I feel no desire nor need to do it again.
But, that's simply how I feel today.
That's my experience.
I hope your plans come to fruition, jdooner.
Hope to see you around sometime.
Mind how you go.
