Hopeless feelings
Well my brother is out of the hospital
Not sure how much time he has
He has no home and is staying with a friend - he has lived 90 miles from me for the last 25 years and feels more comfortable in those surroundings.
Being the codie I am I want nothing more than to bring him to my home for his last few weeks/months. I want him to feel he has a home and belongs.
Mentioned it to my hubby and obviously that isn't a realistic solution.
I am so stuck, I feel so hopeless.
Brother asked me to please take him to the ocean one last time.

What to do?

This may be one of those situations where an employer would be OK with you taking some time off. If you tell them exactly that: My brother is dying and wants to see the ocean one more time.

Unbelievable..the time I have taken off they say "Don't worry about it"
They haven't docked my pay.....
I am very fortunate that way!
