YEY!! Day 1 Yet Again

Hello All.

I have been lurking around the threads for the last few days & finally plucked up the courage to join.
Have been on a 2 week bender after falling off the wagon for the millionth time. Was getting through a bottle of vodka a day until the withdrawal symptoms started to kick in so gave up the vodka yesterday & tapered on half a bottle of wine while pumping myself with vitamins, drinking lots of lemon tea. Not feeling to bad, night time was a bit tough but I popped a couple of Baclofen which seemed to calm the skipping heart beat down, have certainly felt a lot worse in the past just a little agitated. So want to crack this so just thought I would say hello. A great site!!!

'The millionth time'. So what are you going to do different this time? Or are you aiming for the two millionth time..odds are against making it if you do.

Hopefully this is it for you. Sober is the way to go.
I would check in with a doctor considering how much you drank.

Talking

Thanks all..Well main plan is to change my habits!! I work for myself which does make it difficult as it is a lonely profession but need to get out more & get some fresh air so a good walk in the morning is a start. I do belong to a gym so gonna have to force myself to go there!! ;-) I have detoxed myself many times so know what to expect. I did have a slight panic attack in the car today, don't know why I always suffer them when driving but overcame it with breathing exercises but that is the problem with withdrawal, it comes in waves. One minute I feel fine & next it kicks in.. Taking lots of vitamins, milk thistle, liv52 & purim which helps a great deal.. Looking forward to tomorrow!!!
