These are my people!!
I have been on this site to look for courage many times. I really need and want thesupport of this community. It has been hard with a very small social circle and no one i know experiencing (or at least admitting) what being married to an active alcoholic is like. Things with him could be worse but I'm not going to wait for that to happen before I do something. I just realized my definition of worse would be physical abuse I guess or illegal drugs. How insane is that?!? I have four amazing kids I will not sacrifice to this disease if I can help it. Feeling good as I write this because he is away for work and I told him I needed a break from all of it for a few days. Peace for another two days!!!

Welcome here to some of the best resources and support you could ever imagine.
Stick around. Spend time reading, thinking, listening and posting and before you know it you have found within yourself some extra spark to make good changes, as you see fit.
