I did it!
So I have been sober for 33 days. Part of how I managed it was I gave my credit cards to my boyfriend and only took good food from home and let him shop for all the necessities. i told my friends that i was quitting and that they shpuld not loan me money. It was pretty crappy this month but at least I had the excuse that I couldn't buy alcohol because I had no money.
Well he's away now and I have my cards back. I can buy whatever i want. During my lunch hour I drove to the liquor store like I used to and I sat outside in my car for five minutes. Then I told myself that all I had to do was turn the key and not walk in. I thought about my liver problems and how much i didnt want to go back to being an awful person. And I turned around and drove back to work!! I didn't think I could do it but I did!! I am so psyched!! It is still a hard road... But I feel like I had a major victory today!!!
Now I just have to do it again tomorrow...

Congratulations on 33 days.
Psyching yourself up is a good idea. In the morning especially you can reflect on all the bad sides of alcohol(ism)...........
Depending too much on others may not be such a good idea.
