I've hit my bottom line

After yesterday's exhibit of mean and nasty behavior I am calling and setting up an appointment with my lawyer. I am hoping she will tell me I can move out or preferably have him leave. I guess time will tell.

Anyone have any advice?

cricket---my best generic advice would be to get all the support that you can as this can be a very stressful transition period in the lives of most people. Alanon, therapist, good friends, etc.

What do YOU want to do?--the lawyer will give you legal advice and maybe offer a compassionate shoulder to lean on....but, what you want will be a big question that she will surely ask.

I further suggest that you spend time in personal introspection. You will need to understand what happened in this relationship in order not to repeat the same pattern again, down the road. We tend to carry our unresolved issues into the next relationship (unknowingly, of course).

Good for you on making the appointment with the lawyer.

You know when you are ready.
Sounds like you are.

He sounded absolutely awful at the graduation.
I'm glad you are honoring how you feel and what you need.
