The power of I

I will not succumb, I will not brought to my knees another day, I will not puke anymore, I will not disappoint anymore, I will not worry about my health anymore, I will not allow myself to depress another moment, I won't give in, I won't be life's jest another day, I wont, I just won't

What won't you do anymore, what is the value in won't, how can won't help you, won't is helping me through a very long, long weekend. I won't let it, I won't let my family suffer anymore I won't be life's puppet, not one more second.

I posted something earlier that was very personal to me and I hope others read, I am an addicts, addict, but I will not allow that to affect me, not one second, not one moment. forget it, its the the past. The past hurts, it hurts bad, but never again my sober friends.

Well I imagine, I am going to post like mad this weekend, its long and my AV want me to just due away with myself, but I won't allow myself to give in.

THAT IS THE POWER OF I, I is me and you and I has value, and we need to do this for ourselves. Sorry, this is the meanderings of someone that will stay sober this weekend. I can't do this anymore, I am going to survive, even for just a few day. Day 6, and trying so hard

You are doing great delivery guy. Remember that while you are the most important factor in sobriety, most of us cannot do it alone. Sharing here is a great idea. Perhaps you could seek some local help too? Maybe an AA/NA meeting?

Have you considered going to a meeting for AA or GA? It helps me tremendously to hear how others have recovered and to connect with other addicts who can show me the way out. I worked in the casinos in NV for a lot of years. Gambling and alcohol destroy a lot of people. There were GA meetings right in the same building as the casino - maybe look for one.

It's really hard to tough it out alone.

I had to be willing to ask for help and willing to do whatever it takes to stay on the sober path. This site has helped me a lot. So have face-to-face meetings.
