Day 17 checking in!! feeling depressed last night and this morning, not sure why? but I feel like I wanna drink it away however I WONT!


So here we go for a 17th day sober!

Well done on 17!
I always drank depression worse.
But like lots of other things, i can only see it with a few sober days behind me.

Hold on tight to your sobriety, Chilled. Drinking won't make anything better but it could make it a whole lot worse

I kinda feel like it is slipping from me but I'll hold on ! Just want this horrid desperation and mental dispair to go away !

It can't slip away if you hold on to it. Keep busy, get enough rest, sleep and food. Think back to what it feels like to wake up after a day of drinking vs today...that's exactly where we end up if we let our guard down. Be strong, you are doing great!
