Another day

I woke up this morning to a lot of grogginess and my roommates very quiet around me. This is my second day since I quit drinking for good and I'm feeling a little discouraged. I need to do more reading into different treatment options and therapies to kick this thing for good, before I lose my friends, my job, my family, or my band. I am unsure of the reasoning for this post this morning, I just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing today. Every day will be better than the last; I know now that I simply cannot moderate.

Keep being strong. The grogginess will go away soon and each day sober feels better and better.

Good morning theupsides. A sober morning is always a good feeling, congrats on day 2. Regarding your question about different treatment options and therapies, there are several subforums here surrounding 12 step methods, secular methods, etc...just scroll down the main forum page to find them. You can always ask here too in the newcomers forum. Have you tried anything yet like AA/NA or perhaps seeing a counselor?
