Didn't realise how much of a trigger boredom is! I wont drink this evening but maaaaaan I sure feel like it! Its only because its day 13 that I wont drink, don't wanna throw it away!

Just focus on today, that's the priority. If you set yourself up for one day at a time you will feel less anxious in my experience.

I watched a lot of movies and bad tv but it helped. I also cleaned my house a lot even though I live in a pretty small place I also started reading again; something I couldn't do when I was smashed. Maybe visit a library...you can borrow movies from there too

I can relate. boredom is a major trigger for me too. Also I have noticed I need to catch it early and start doing something or else things spiral downwards.

You gotta organise and plan new activities!!

Simply taking out drinking and carrying on with the same lifestyle only equals sitting about with a lot of time to kill thinking about drinking, and that's a recipe for disaster.

Instead you need to plan and fill that time with new activities, carve out a new Sober lifestyle!!
