2) if you ignore someone can they still comment on a post?

As far as I am aware:

1) Posts can't be deleted, only edited, unless deleted by a moderator due to a rule breach.

2) I believe they can still comment, but as you've ignored the member, you won't see any posts/comments anymore by the ignored member.
