Time to run with the luck
Well guys I made trough the first night!
I had no major withdrawal, Now it's time to run with my luck and not look behind. And specially NOT think I don't have a problem since I'm apparently not physically dependent.
With all my relapses over the years, It took me all the courage I had left to come around this time. Only one recovery left in me.
This recovery kitty used up all his 9 lives. Time to run with my chance and put everything in this time around. I have a pretty solid toolset and know my triggers. After 700 relapses I sure hope I do!
Time to say goodbye to the bottle permanently.

I know exactly what you mean. This kitty has used up his lives as well. My advice is to do whatever you have to do to make it work. For me that meant professional help, AA, and honestly with myself and loved ones.
You can do it but sobriety requires a profound willingness to change and it sounds like you have it.
I am a big believer in the gift of desperation

Yes; run; run; run; and never ever look back, patman. You can absolutely do this!!!!!
We will be running right along beside you. As I am a walker (never a runner) I will be the one huffing and puffing but I will do it if you will.

Thanks everyone. Had to remember HALT this morning.
Was feeling really angry at my dog for no apparent reason. LOL!
3 coffees is not a breakfast for the record! All good now ;-)

GO Patman!
Rooting for you always. 24/7.
Maybe your dog was giving you big sloppy kisses all night while you slept - like Nonsensical's dog seems to be capable of doling out when the moment arises
Hah!
