Hi i am early in recovery and things are slowly getting back in place - work, family, health, hobbies. I am back in AA doing service.
I am sick to the back teeth of my neighbour. I live in a block of flats and i got punched in the neck tonight. I called the police and he was arrested. He is in the cells for the night sobering up. Police are will be looking at a harassment order. He got angry tonight when he came to my door because he wanted money for drink and i refused. He knows i am getting better and he wad rather shocked when i was finally assertive tonight and finally said no.
Yes AA teaches us patience and tolerance but we have to draw the line at times as we are not here to be walked on.

I know threat to personal safety is a valid reason for breaking leases in my country.

No, i own the flat. My neighbour rents the flat off his sister. Police said he rented it off a landlord they could pursue eviction proceedings
