Since I messed up and had a glass of wine.

Woke up feeling ok, I have some kind of stomach bug though as I've been sick for two days (not drink related, would have been two weeks today if I'd not had that glass yesterday *sigh*)

Anyway, feeling positive about this. I have the support of my GP and family, plus here.

Another week off work, need to be well enough by then to go back.

It's great you were honest and are ready to get back to it. Don't let the AV trick you that because you had one glass you can have one more...

Hi. It took too long for the fact "it's the first drink that gets me drunk" to sink in. I finally accepted that fact and haven't had a drink in many years.

That one glass can lead to a lot of misery, but I need to take a hard look at what led up to that drink, feeling lousy can certainly set things in motion.

Retail shopping today and it's coming up to my usual open the bottle time and I feel fine not drinking.

I was very tempted to have another but came straight on here, threw the rest away . I'm not leaving it to get worse again, I need to sort this out.
