I have made five AA meetings in 3 days of sobriety. I have never found so much support for anything. It is wonderful. Feeling anxious, sick, and tired tonight but overwhelmingly at peace after trying time and again..

I went to 2 meetings today. On my way to the first one I caught myself thinking, "I'm actually looking forward to this meeting. I'm glad I am coming because I want to, not because I need to, like it was in the beginning when the cravings were so strong."

So happy for you. I was anxious as hell for about two months and would sit in the parking lot trying to will myself to walk in. Funny thing was that despite the fact that going was grueling, I always felt so much better afterwards. Even better when I engaged in fellowship and started talking to people. I look forward to my meetings now.
