A little advice?

A little advice?

I am presently trying to distract myself until I can fall asleep. I slept most of the day and now I'm finding it difficult to get to sleep. What do you do when you need a distraction?

I'm also dwelling on last night when I drank (I know, bad habit, can't help it). I REALLY need a distraction from that more than anything.

Any suggestions on books?

I actually tried to go in the chat room earlier, but for some reason it is not working for me.

in early days i had to
clean my flat, something i didnt want to do
clean my shoes, something i didnt want to do
read a book like the big book something i didnt want to do
if i had money for a call then call someone up but that ment going out to use the public phones so i didnt do it

in short i had to do anything other than sit in my own problems and the beauty of it was that when i did just one of these things i found i ended up doing lots more besides i couldnt stop
sometimes i have to do that same thing today 10 years on as i know i need to keep busy and active at times but happily enough its not often not like i had to do it everyday in early days
keep on ploding on one foot in front of the other my friend its hard now but it will get easier
