Remembrances nd Honors for Memorial Day

This Memorial Day
I honor my father who served during the Korean War
and a nephew who served in Afghanistan.
Thankfully they both survived their service
but mourn those who served with them and did not make it back home.

Who do you honor or remember this Memorial Day?

My father served in WWII. He completed his service.

Thank you to all who served.

I honor my little brother who did two tours in Iraq and continues to serve. He has not been alone from the beginning...thanks for this.

My gratitude for all those who work(ed) for our country and put their entire lives on the line doing so.

Thanks EternalQ.

Many good, personal friends, 4 uncles, 1 brother and my father - they served anywhere from the most recent engagements back to WWII. Most made it back, a few did not.

My hearfelt thanks to everyone who served.

Remembering, with thanks, my dad, who served in Vietnam, and my grandfather, who served in WWII.

My immense gratitude to all who served and continue to serve.

Thank you starting this thread.

Vance, corpsman, Vietnam. You are missed and so dearly loved. I always know that you watch over me and walk by my side.
