Unhappy Want to be new again help

Im having such a hard time and need as much support and advice as possible. I have been new quite a few times now but this time is different. I have never felt this big of an urge to want to stop than I have in my entire life. Right now im addicted to heroin. Alcohol once used to be my drug of choice until I was introduced to heroin. Although I still drink occassionally and will use just about anything u put in front of me heroin is my daily habit. I cant stop everyday is an ongoing mission to get my next fix. Ive lost everything including my family and this has all just happened recently. Im only 26 and never in a million years would have thought this is where I would be today. The sick and twisted thing is everday I beat myself up because I used again and all I want more than anything is to stop. I think im gunna go to the hospital tom and detox and then I want to go to rehab but I have no money at all and no help finacially. So if anyone knows of any place that offer finacial aid or help in anyway here in ca that would be awesome. The good thing is I know if I get help now and do it all on my own and show to my family I truly want it and do what it takes they will be back in my life. But in the mean time ive made some huge mistakes and am suffering so bad I just want help. So please any words of support are greatly appreciated!

It sounds like the hospital tomorrow is a good place to start. There are often social workers there who might be able to help you access subsidized services.

In the meantime, Ashley, hang in there, hang on to that desire to get clean and sober. Care for yourself as you would a cherished friend. You can do this.

Ashley try finding a place close to you in here (Ca. Dept. of Alcohol and Drug Programs). Call and explain your situation, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

Good luck

Hi Ashley,

I'm glad you're back and ready to get sober.
