I went to Chicago to detox- to do it around my family. It is 650 miles from here. I was there a week. I made "some" progress.

Its great to be home.

I had some nice family time- I got away from my rut- and I did make a portion of the progress I want to- on pain pill use.

It went MUCH better then I expected. 2 days worth of rxs lasted me a full week.

I should have had flu like symptoms, I did not and do not.

If I was home- I would not have made this progress. Thank you Dee, Anna, Heavn. I spent time with family and loved ones. I was away from the people places and things that was big time triggers. Chicago sounds like it would have alot of that- but I am out of the scene there. Old friends I knew from there- moved away or passed away.

I am sort of shocked I stretched those pills out for a whole week. The money I did not spend on pills- paid for my trip- in fact- it was cheaper to take the trip- since I stayed with a relative.

I am brainstorming other things I can do as well.
