Welcome back Savarna

What would you say is the main trigger leading you back to drinking?

I failed again also. Back on day 5 here.

Funny enough we both ended up back here...they say great minds think alike.

Welcome back. Let's try again shall we? You have my support.

Good luck my friend. We can all do this together.

Savarna...your here & being honest....you can't undo...just move forward. I have had many a day one & know how you are feeling. You can do this...be kind to yourself as you would to a friend if they were feeling the same way.

Yes, don't give up and try again. And again and again if necessary.
I joined here seven years ago, under a different name, and have been sober a little over three years. It took me awhile.
But even before that, I tried for years to quit, only to go back to the bottle.
The only failure is to give up trying.
I never gave up, and sobriety eventually happened for me.

It will for you, too. Just don't give up trying.

It can help to stay really busy, particularly with something mentally absorbing. What do you like to do, besides drinking? Are you a book or movie person? Indulge yourself for a while. have a book from the library I can't put down right now and there's no room for the outside world while i read, including alcoholic fantasies.
Eventually you'll find other things to fill the void alcohol leaves if you keep working at it real hard. Best of luck
