andsoitbegins well done in your 5 weeks...

that is a great achievement... keep up with the good work

Come here any time you need support...
Feelings come and go... they are natural,
try not to obsess and concentrate in anxiety, worry, etc.
try to concentrate in the good things that sobriety will bring you.

Life is better sober ten times

Welcome to posting on the forum andsoitbegins

"Full of odd emotions" - great way to describe the emotional experience.

Nice job with 5 weeks sober. Lean on everyone here. Great advice and experience to be shared.

Wow amazed at replies thanks a bunch everyone, what a feeling to now I'm not alone. Just got back from first holiday ever as an adult no drink. Watching my partner drink to excess day and night only spurred me on ( partner change may be in order). While he lay ill in bed every morning I was at the gym for 6.30. Feeling really strong, almost eight weeks!
