Hi trialsdan, welcome to SR.
Take plenty of water or juice so you don't hydrate, if you're concerned pop and see your doctor..I believe they are most helpful .
There doesn't have to be another night like last night, hang in there, it does get better with time and perseverance .
I found reading others experiences on this forum and posting helped me enormously.
All the best.

You should really go and get checked out, alcohol withdrawal is a serious business. You're gonna be lacking fluids and vitamin B1...also, you really don't want the DT'S and may need a sedative. Stay strong.

Oh I know that feeling well. The lack of sleep and anxiety is a killer for me.
As others have said keep hydrated and try to eat what you can. I personally find bananas and sugary drinks help. After stopping alcohol your blood sugar goes into free fall.
Glad you're seeing the doc. They may well give you something to ease the symptoms and at least allow you to get some sleep.
